David lived in the stronghold therefore they called it the city of David.

And indeed We grasped them with punishment , so neither did they submit themselves to their Lord , nor do they cry humbly .

( They are such ) that We seized them with chastisement ( and yet ) they did not humble themselves before their Lord , nor do they entreat

And We had gripped them with suffering as a warning , but they did not yield to their Lord , nor did they humbly supplicate , and will continue thus

We struck them with torment , but they did not submit themselves to their Lord , nor did they make themselves humble

And already We overtook them with chastisement , but they were not submissive to their Lord , nor do they humble themselves .

We seized them with the punishment , but they did not surrender to their Lord , nor will they humble themselves

We inflicted Punishment on them , but they humbled not themselves to their Lord , nor do they submissively entreat ( Him ) !

He said, Let him be! Let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet who came out of Samaria.

And he said, Let him alone let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.
