The revised operative paragraph 5 of part B would read as follows

1.3 The revised text of the Staff Regulations incorporating the amendments referred to above is attached to the present bulletin.

In light of the short time available to us, this revised text was not discussed and might require further consideration.

Other proposals made in informal consultations are reflected in the revised Chairman's text.

In this light, I would suggest that the latest revision of the draft preambular paragraph, circulated on 29 July 2005, be used as the basis for the next round of discussions.

The Secretariat has today made available that document, which contains the revised text of that draft resolution, which we would like to see the Committee adopt on Monday.

The Ad Hoc Committee also recommends that the revised Chairman's text, as contained in annex I to the present report, be used as the basis of work of the Working Group.

Her delegation accepted the language that had been the focus of the most recent informal consultations however, it called for the deletion of the brackets found in article III of the Chairman's revised text.

The Working Group had continued the work of the Ad Hoc Committee, considering the revised Chairman's text and focusing its debate around the concepts of peacebuilding and emergency humanitarian assistance.

The Secretariat has been advised in consultations with the World Trade Organization that there is as yet no decision as to whether electronic reverse auctions will be included in the revised text of the GPA.

It had also recommended that the revised Chairman's text appended to its report (A 60 52, annex I) should be used as the basis for the work of the working group and that the proposal by Costa Rica should be considered separately.

Revised essential use handbook

We generally support the revised text of the draft Convention on the Use of Electronic Messages in international contracts (A CN.9 577), subject to the recommendations below and to such drafting and other recommendations as may be made at the Plenary.

The revised draft resolution contained the following changes
