In Spain, the counterpart to the current account deficit was private sector borrowing.

This confirms the necessity and usefulness of the special account, when compared to the period prior to its establishment.

In its decision IDB.30 Dec.5, the Board took note of the establishment of the special account.

The balance at year end reported above is attributable to the special account for Buildings Management and is not subject to financial regulations 4.2(b) and 4.2(c).

As at 31 May 2005, unpaid assessed contributions to the special account for UNOCI amounted to 95.8 million.

The asbestos removal programme is now progressing in accordance with the revised timeline, and the accumulated funds on the BMS special account are being utilized in accordance with the original purpose.

In Vienna, for Professional level salaries, the expected outcome of the place to place cost of living survey, to be conducted by the International Civil Service Commission (a body reporting to the United Nations General Assembly) in October 2005, has been taken into account with an implementation date of June 2006.

Expired tCErs and lCERs held in holding accounts of registries, or the pending account of the CDM Registry, shall be transferred to a cancellation account.

Savings on or the cancellation of obligations relating to the RPTC are credited to the special account approved by the General Conference.

The accumulation of funds under the special account is primarily caused by the delay experienced in the removal of asbestos from the VIC complex and related maintenance work.
