Regular resources are the foundation of UNICEF country programmes through which it provides assistance to children to meet the programme targets in the medium term strategic plan.

Advisers on internally displaced persons were deployed to Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia, Somalia, the Sudan and Uganda to provide strategic advice to United Nations humanitarian coordinators and country teams.

Conscious of the commitment of both the Government of Anguilla and the administering Power to a new and closer policy of dialogue and partnership through the Strategic Country Programme 2000 2003,
