Our economy is screwed up, big time.

We are reconstructing our economy.

And that shores up our economy, makes it stable.

The skewed incentives distorted our economy and our society.

We have liberalized our economy and have adopted free market policies.

Our economies are still on life support.

With God's help, we quickly restored our economy and began the task of bringing our diverse communities together.

Its success is necessary to create the conditions for re launching our economy, for ensuring national reconciliation and for building peace and stability.

Here, I would like to share Pakistan's experience on how we turned around our economy in a very brief span of time.

Tourism, which has been the engine of our national economic growth for the past three decades, has suffered a sharp decline.

Europe can also consider using various stabilization funds to help our economy through the crisis that we are all enduring.

For instance, just recently the Motion Picture Association revealed that our economy loses 58 billion dollars a year to copyright theft.

No, no! In terms of what we really need to do to put the brakes on this very high inertial thing our big economy we've really hardly started.

If change is inevitable, we must make our economies more flexible and prepare to live with the consequences. There is no other way.

Our economy was in ruins, our people were among the world s poorest, and our political system had been weakened by decades of corruption, dictatorship, and misrule.

Indeed, today s mainstream micro and macroeconomic models are insufficient for exploring the dynamic and complex interactions among humans, institutions, and nature in our real economy.

Yes, we are a brilliant and creative species, but we've created a little too much stuff so much that our economy is now bigger than its host, our planet.

So how do we begin to tackle the massive challenge of retooling our global economy, preserving the planet, and lifting billions out of poverty?

Imagine our economy when the carbon bubble bursts, when the financial markets recognize that, to have any hope of preventing the climate spiraling out of control, the oil and coal industries are finished.

Our current global economy, however, is not sustainable, with more than one billion people left behind by economic progress and the earth s environment suffering terrible damage from human activity.

So we must redouble our efforts to shift our economies to a post carbon world, while still allowing the billions of people without adequate food, water, and education to improve their lives.

Supported by a stable, long term climate policy framework, public financing can drive the decarbonization of our energy system and our economies.

As in Las Vegas, the lucky few the bankers that put our economy at risk and the owners of energy companies that put our planet at risk may walk off with a mint.

She concluded that the positive effect of pent up demand and government measures can make sense only when viewed against the background of our changed economic and political philosophy.

In conclusion, I should like to say is that, after so many efforts to stabilize our national economy, and after the various actions undertaken to fulfil our commitment in respect of the MDGs, we have been affected by a particularly dramatic misfortune, namely, the rise in oil prices on the international market.
