At the request of my Government, I have the honour to transmit to you the addendum to the fourth report that was submitted by the Principality of Andorra to the Counter Terrorism Committee on 11 February 2005 (see enclosure).

In addition, the following countries have become sponsors of the draft Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Bangladesh, Cyprus, Denmark, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Slovakia, Thailand, and United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Andorra supports action and measures taken by the United Nations in connection with the trade in weapons of all kinds and places on record its complete agreement with nuclear disarmament and non proliferation in order to preserve international peace and security.

In accordance with its obligations under the provisions of paragraph 6 of Security Council resolution 1373 (2001), the Government of Andorra submitted its latest detailed report on 10 February 2005 in response to the request made by the Committee in its letter of 15 November 2004.

Adopted at the 64th plenary meeting, on 16 December 2005, without a vote, on the recommendation of the Committee (A 60 499, para. 17)The draft resolution recommended in the report was sponsored in the Committee by Andorra, Benin, Jordan, Portugal, South Africa and Timor Leste.

The lack of current or accurate information from Cuba, North Korea, Somalia, Andorra, San Marino, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Puerto Rico (a commonwealth of the United States), and Macau, SAR precludes their inclusion.

With regard to the question set out in paragraph 1.1 concerning progress made in preparing a complete revision of the Penal Code, the Government of Andorra has the honour to inform you that, on 21 February 2005, the General Council approved the text of the new Andorran Penal Code, which will enter into force on 23 September 2005.
