Paraguay is similarly disposed towards the sister Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with which we enjoy fraternal ties.

It will thus strengthen the link of confidence which ought to bind it to those on behalf of whom it is supposed to act.

A sizeable emigré community, which found refuge in the new world, links our two countries.

We are firmly convinced that the future of the region and the prosperity of its peoples, linked as they are by history, language, religion and a common destiny, depend on the achievement of that unity.

Sub Saharan Africa, to which my country is linked by particularly strong cultural and historical ties, continues to be the region of the planet with the most worrying levels of development.

14. Both sides agreed in principle that the State visit to be made by His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk Varman to the Kingdom of Thailand would further strengthen the already close and happily existing bonds of relations between Thailand and Cambodia.

The utmost priority should be given to the proper functioning of the Judicial Training School, conceived as a study centre not only for professional training but also to establish bonds of solidarity among judges and a coherent overall vision of the function of the judiciary in the State to quote the peace agreements.

It was pointed out that African countries, which were still for the most part under colonial rule at the time of the partition of Palestine in 1947, felt a fundamental kinship with the Palestinian people. Their solidarity was rooted in a moral and ethical position and a clear understanding of the historical and political situation.
