Cast in thy lot among us let us all have one purse

Joshua called for them, and he spoke to them, saying, Why have you deceived us, saying, 'We are very far from you,' when you live among us?

He called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because the children of Israel quarreled, and because they tested Yahweh, saying, Is Yahweh among us, or not?

Why should you be like a scared man, as a mighty man who can't save? Yet you, Yahweh, are in the midst of us, and we are called by your name don't leave us.

Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O LORD, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name leave us not.

He said, If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord go in the midst of us although this is a stiff necked people pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.

And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us for it is a stiffnecked people and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.

Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money yet they lean on Yahweh, and say, Isn't Yahweh in the midst of us? No disaster will come on us.

The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

When the people had come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Why has Yahweh struck us today before the Philistines? Let us get the ark of the covenant of Yahweh out of Shiloh to us, that it may come among us, and save us out of the hand of our enemies.

And when the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of our enemies.
