I'm going to break a rule that says we must never reveal our true identity.

LONDON In the 1960 s, feminists coined the slogan, Our bodies, our selves.

You send us to be investigated on no charge but our identities, but you do it with extreme politeness.

Governments can't just hold us indefinitely for no reason.

It is an identity we share by living together and by what we have in common, whatever the differences between our multiples identities.

It also enjoys the sponsorship of Portugal and Spain, from which our own nationalities originated and countries with which we maintain links of all kinds.

This reflects our current era, in which new knowledge, ideas, and possibilities have made our identities richer, more fluid, and less subject to fate.

This dynamic is also allowing us to create a space to share and discuss the role of the image and photography in the construction of our identities, so for now it looks like this will be more than a series of portraits.

And so it seems that we use our language, not just to cooperate, but to draw rings around our cooperative groups and to establish identities, and perhaps to protect our knowledge and wisdom and skills from eavesdropping from outside.

Only a minimum of introspection shows that our difficulty in answering the question, Who am I?, arises from the complexity we face in distinguishing between our many identities and understanding their architecture.
