Think we better give up the idea?

For Israel, security is an issue on which we will never compromise.

Hrmsless says We are steadfast and we will not stop nor surrender our protests for our rights, and no emergency laws nor martial law will deter us .

We certainly don't want to give up the rights, when people do something wrong, to seek redress in the courts.

But once we abdicate our powers of reason in this way, we may as well believe anything at all.

Some people on the islands say they do not want to hold any dialogue unless we first drop our claim.

If we meet around a table we are not granting anything or yielding on any point we are simply sitting around a table.

These are values that we simply will not compromise. To do so would mark the beginning of the end for Hong Kong.

And it seems to me that we talk a lot about the cloud, but every time we put something on the cloud, we give up some responsibility for it.

And while we might trust our governments right now, right here in 2011, any right we give away will be given away for good.

If such research is truly to serve the public good, the safety, health, and dignity of human subjects should not be compromised.

The ban against ethnic and racial data is a taboo that should not be overthrown easily, and not without carefully weighing the risk to social peace.
