Once we saw our exaggerated hopes for our investments failing, we began to consider our other sources of income and wealth, only to confront the worldwide economic slowdown that began in 2001.

In democracies, we debate how much to spend on different initiatives, knowing that we don t have infinite resources, and that sometimes throwing more money at the problem isn t the best answer.

Faced with Ben Gharbia s determination to protect our sources as per article 11 of Decree Law 115, the interrogation lasted 6 hours and gave way to harassment, focusing on Nawaat s internal functioning, the identity of its journalists (identity cards, telephone numbers, etc.) and the list of Nawaat s collaborators, with the intention of interrogating them one by one.

A medical prize fund would not provide a panacea, but it would be a step in the right direction, redirecting our scarce research resources toward more efficient uses and ensuring that the benefits of that research reach the many people who are currently denied them.

The ability for us to access these resources to gain planetary redundancy we can now gather all the information, the genetic codes, you know, everything stored on our databases, and back them up off the planet, in case there would be one of those disastrous situations.
