Louise Leakey digs for humanity's origins

In his History of European Morals, published in 1869, the Irish historian and philosopher W.E.H. Lecky wrote

In 1552 he was invited by Qol Sharif (Qol Şärif, ) and Chapqin bek Otich uli (Çapqın bäk Otıç ulı, ) to the throne of Kazan Khanate.

Three of these communities remained in existence as of Mrs. Leakey's 1984 autobiography Freretown, Kenya Freretown, South Africa and Freretown, India.

In schools, we learned about them only within the context of the Leakey family s decades long work excavating the Lake Turkana basin in search of fossils of humans ancestors.
