Translation needs of the Treaty Section

The Language Services Section continued to provide interpretation, translation and reproduction services to the Chambers, the parties and the Registry.

These directors have oversight of a particular service within the facility or system (surgical services, women's services, emergency services, critical care services, etc.).

Within the Library, a new section, Knowledge Sharing Services, has been created. This section will provide internal information management consulting services to Secretariat offices and permanent missions to help their staff make better use of information management tools and methods.

The arrangement was made by Swiss NGO International Social Service (ISS) funded by Hong Kong Social Welfare Department.

The Financial Services Section provides comprehensive financial services for the Fund's operations through its Payments, Accounts and Cashier units.

Comment by the Administration. The Finance Section has instituted measures to ensure that the accounts receivable and accounts payable are separated and posted in the respective accounts when first entering transactions in the accounting system.

Other increases in Major Programme H relate to the implementation work for the security enhancement programme implemented under the guidance of the Security and Safety Services of UNOV.
