Such a process cannot be forced on people.

Therefore the word of Yahweh will be to them precept on precept, precept on precept line on line, line on line here a little, there a little that they may go, fall backward, be broken, be snared, and be taken.

It has already been revealed to you and to those who have gone before you , that if you associate ( partners ) with Allah , your works would be annulled and you will be among the losers .

And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate anything with Allah , your work would surely become worthless , and you would surely be among the losers .

even though God has said , It has been revealed to you and to those who lived before you that if you consider other things equal to God , your deeds will be made devoid of all virtue and you will certainly be lost ?

And certainly , it has been revealed to you and to those before you Surely if you associate ( with Allah ) , your work would certainly come to naught and you would certainly be of the losers .

It has already been revealed to you and to those who have gone before you that if you ascribe any partner to God , all your works will come to nothing , and you will surely be among the losers .

But it has already been revealed to thee , as it was to those before thee , If thou wert to join ( gods with Allah ) , truly fruitless will be thy work ( in life ) , and thou wilt surely be in the ranks of those who lose ( all spiritual good ) .

In short, it is neither populism nor shortsightedness that has led citizens to reject the policies that have been imposed on them.

Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth. Only the land of the priests alone didn't become Pharaoh's.

This is God 's guidance He gives among His creatures whom He will . If they had associated others with Him , surely vain would have been all they did .

This is the guidance of Allah , which He may give to whomever He wills among His bondmen and had they ascribed partners ( to Allah ) , their deeds would have been wasted .

That is God 's guidance He guides by it whom He will of His servants had they been idolaters , it would have failed them , the things they did .

This is the guidance of Allah whereby He guideth whomsoever of His bondmen He listeth . And if they had associated , to naught would have come all that they were wont to work .

Such is the guidance of Allah by it He guides whom He will of His worshipers . Had they associated ( others with Him ) , their labors would have indeed been annulled .

That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whomever He wills of His servants . But if they had associated others with Allah , then worthless for them would be whatever they were doing .

Such is the guidance of God by which He guides whichever of His servants He wants . If people worship idols , their deeds will be turned devoid of all virtue .

This is Allah 's guidance , He guides thereby whom He pleases of His servants and if they had set up others ( with Him ) , certainly what they did would have become ineffectual for them .

This is the guidance of God He gives that guidance to whichever of His servants He pleases . If they had associated other deities with Him , surely all they did would have been of no avail .

This is the guidance of Allah He giveth that guidance to whom He pleaseth , of His worshippers . If they were to join other gods with Him , all that they did would be vain for them .

and do not call , apart from God , on that which neither profits nor hurts thee , for if thou dost , then thou wilt surely be of the evildoers .

And invoke not beside Allah that which can neither profit thee nor hurt thee then if thou dost so , thou art forthwith of the wrong doers .
