A number of areas requiring further action have also been identified.

Due to technical constraints, these actions will appear in a later issue of the Journal.

As recommended in previous reports, the Burundian authorities can apply several solutions, including increasing the number of releases on parole and accelerating the judicial process.

This very serious act of terrorism comes during a period in which Israel has taken a number of steps to advance the peace process, including our impending disengagement from the Gaza Strip.
