A good teacher must be patient with his students.

The Lord's servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient,

And the servant of the Lord must not strive but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

So if I want the music to get to a certain level of intensity, the first step for me is to be patient, to listen to what's going on and pull from something that's going on around me.
