2.8 Responsibility for this subprogramme is vested in the Security Council Affairs Division, which will provide advice and substantive services to the Security Council and its subsidiary organs, particularly the sanctions committees and the Counter Terrorism Committee, informal working groups and the Military Staff Committee.
