I promised those young people that I would convey their visions to you.

I promise that that I will report back to my Government and, through the media, to my people and to the social and professional organizations in my country.

These expressions of friendship and solidarity have been of great comfort to us in this appalling tragedy, and that will be conveyed to my Government.

When a candidate has obtained the required majority of votes, I shall communicate the result to the President of the General Assembly, and I shall request the Council to remain in session, pending the receipt from the President of the General Assembly of the result of the voting in the Assembly.
