He asked life of you, you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.

He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

Give to him who asks you, and don't turn away him who desires to borrow from you.

Give to everyone who asks you, and don't ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.

Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Give to every man that asketh of thee and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

Second thing is, if God ever asks you a question, He already knows the answer.

When your son asks you in time to come, saying, What do the testimonies, the statutes, and the ordinances, which Yahweh our God has commanded you mean?

And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?

Obviously, if He's God, then that would mean that when He asks the question, it's for your benefit, not His.

What about the justification of that belief? How would you answer if someone asked you why you believe that the earth is round?

It shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, 'What is this?' that you shall tell him, 'By strength of hand Yahweh brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage

And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage

When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden of Yahweh? Then you shall tell them, What burden! I will cast you off, says Yahweh.

And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

I can't help but with this wish to think about when you're a little kid and you all your friends ask you if a genie could give you one wish in the world, what would it be?

When My devotees enquire of you about Me , I am near , and answer the call of every supplicant when he calls . It behoves them to hearken to Me and believe in Me that they may follow the right path .

And O dear Prophet ( Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him ) , when My bondmen question you concerning Me , then surely I am close I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he calls on Me , so they must obey Me and believe in Me , so that they may attain guidance .

And when My servants question thee concerning Me I am near to answer the call of the caller , when he calls to Me so let them respond to Me , and let them believe in Me haply so they will go aright .

And when My bondsmen ask thee regarding Me , then verily I am Nigh I answer the call of the caller when he calleth unto Me , so let them answer Me and believe in Me , haply they may be rightly directed .

And when My slaves ask you ( O Muhammad SAW ) concerning Me , then ( answer them ) , I am indeed near ( to them by My Knowledge ) . I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me ( without any mediator or intercessor ) .

And when My servants ask you about Me , I Am near I answer the call of the caller when he calls on Me . So let them answer Me , and have faith in Me , that they may be rightly guided .

And if My servants ask you , O Prophet. concerning Me , tell them that I am quite near to them . I hear and answer the prayer of the suppliant , when he calls to Me .

I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me . So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me , in order that they may be led aright .

I answer the supplicant s call when he calls Me . So let them respond to Me , and let them have faith in Me , so that they may fare rightly .

When My worshipers ask you about Me , I am near . I answer the supplication of the suppliant when he calls to Me therefore , let them respond to Me and let them believe in Me , in order that they will be righteous .

I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me . So let them respond to Me by obedience and believe in Me that they may be rightly guided .

( Muhammad ) , if any of My servants ask you about Me , tell them that the Lord says , I am near I accept the prayers of those who pray . Let My servants answer My call and believe in Me so that perhaps they may know the right direction .

And when My servants ask you concerning Me , then surely I am very near I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me , so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way .

When My servants ask you about Me , say that I am near . I respond to the call of one who calls , whenever he calls to Me let them , then , respond to Me , and believe in Me , so that they may be rightly guided .

When My servants ask thee concerning Me , I am indeed close ( to them ) I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me Let them also , with a will , Listen to My call , and believe in Me That they may walk in the right way .
