In order to continue the streamlining of the field office network, and as a next step in the re profiling exercise, the total core Local level (General Service) staff was increased by eight posts.

Investigative files in the Secret Service's largest field office were lost, with one Secret Service agent saying, All the evidence that we stored at 7 World Trade, in all our cases, went down with the building.

General description The Programme will ensure that the UNIDO field network, consisting of field offices and UNIDO Desks (including focal point offices), will receive optimum financial and General Service staff support under the guidance provided under Programme F.3.
