We must all take care to preserve our national heritage.

Let us take on the challenge, and let our legacy be no more poverty.

But another part of our legacy is environmental.

That is where the roots of African culture were sown today they form a proud part of the vibrancy of our cultural heritage and our national identity.

But I, and many other Yemenis, feel a deep sense of pain when we see the destruction of our heritage, places that we want to share with the world.

While retaining their national diversity, taken together, they are part of our overall national cultural heritage.

We affirm and declare our support to ensure shared and equal benefits that stem from our common European heritage which has its roots in European civilization and prosperity.

We, the new democracies of Eastern Europe, have been taught by our legacy that behind Russia s every diplomatic act lurks imperial ambition.

Because reforms can become part of our heritage, traditional conservatives can adapt to change, even taking credit for negotiating the connection between past and future.
