Our support for an effective reform is not a rhetorical stand.

Candidates to lead their countries should not be allowed to get away with speaking in generalities or engaging in vague rhetorical flourishes.

But countering them does not involve warfare, or even a rhetorically looser war on terror.

Drafted exclusively from the standpoint of the powerful, it reflects only the goals, intentions and interests of the latter, sugar coated with a rhetoric which, for us, the countries and peoples of the South  the decisive majority in the Assembly speaks of selfishness, disdain, incomprehension and lack of interest.
