We are a doomed nation.

And We rained down on them a shower ( of stones ) . How ruinous was the rain that fell on those who had been warned ( but warned in vain ) !

And We showered a rain upon them so what a wretched rain for those who were warned !

And We rained on them a rain and evil indeed is the rain of them that are warned .

And We rained upon them a rain ill was the rain upon the warned .

And We rained down on them a rain ( of stones ) . So evil was the rain of those who were warned .

And We rained upon them a rain . Miserable was the rain of those forewarned .

And We rained down upon them a rain . It was an evil rain for those who had already been warned .

And We rained a rain upon them . Dreadful is the rain of those who have been warned .

Then We poured down upon them a rain of stones . Evil was that rain for those who had been warned !

And we rained on them a rain ( of stones ) indeed it is an evil rain that rains on those that are warned .

And We rained upon them a rain of stones , and evil was the rain of those who were warned .

We sent to them a terrible rainstorm . How horrible was the rain for the people who had already received warning .

And We rained on them a rain , and evil was the rain of those who had been warned .

and We pelted them with torrential rain . How dreadful that rain was for those who had been warned !

And We rained down on them a shower ( of brimstone ) and evil was the shower on those who were admonished ( but heeded not ) !

Evil is the case of those who deny Our signs and wrong themselves .

Damned will they be in this world , and on the Day of Doom how evil the gift that they will receive !

What an evil example is of those who denied Our signs and used to wrong only their own souls .

And a curse followed them in the world , and on the Day of Resurrection what a wretched gift is what they received .

An evil likeness is the likeness of the people who cried lies to Our signs , and themselves were wronging .

And there was sent following after them in this world a curse , and upon the Day of Resurrection evil the offering to be offered !

Vile is the likeness of the people who belie Our signs , and their own souls they are wont to wrong .

And they were followed in this world by a curse and so they will be on the Day of Resurrection , ill is the present presented !

Evil is the likeness of the people who reject Our Ayat ( proofs , evidences , verses and signs , etc . ) , and used to wrong their ownselves .

They were pursued by a curse in this ( deceiving life of this world ) and ( so they will be pursued by a curse ) on the Day of Resurrection . How bad is the curse ( in this world ) pursued by another curse ( in the Hereafter ) .

Evil is the metaphor of the people who reject Our signs and wrong themselves .

They were followed by a curse in this , and on the Day of Resurrection . Miserable is the path they followed .

Evil is the example of the people who reject Our signs as false and perpetrate wrong against their own selves .

They were pursued by a curse in this world and so will they be on the Day of Resurrection . What an evil reward will they receive !

Evil as an example are the folk who denied Our revelations , and were wont to wrong themselves .

A curse is made to follow them in the world and on the Day of Resurrection . Hapless is the gift ( that will be ) given ( them ) .

Evil is the parable of the people who deny Our signs and wrong themselves .

They are pursued by a curse in this world , as well as on the Day of Resurrection evil is the award conferred upon them !

Evil is the example of those who belied Our verses they wronged themselves .

A curse was sent to follow them in this world and then upon them on the Day of Resurrection . Evil is the offering to be offered .

How evil an example is that of the people who denied Our signs and used to wrong themselves .

And they were followed in this world with a curse and on the Day of Resurrection . And wretched is the gift which is given .

How terrible is the example of those who have rejected Our revelations and have done injustice only to themselves !

They are condemned in this world and in the life to come . Evil is the gift and the recipient !

Evil is the likeness of the people who reject Our communications and are unjust to their own souls .

And they are overtaken by curse in this ( world ) , and on the resurrection day , evil the gift which shall be given .

How evil is the case of those who deny Our signs . They only wrong themselves

A curse followed them in this world , and shall follow them on the Day of Resurrection . What a foul gift to be given !
