This was signed by the Heads of States members of the CIS, including Ukraine, in Kiev on 20 March 1992.

Ukraine views the signing of the agreement with the IAEA as a necessary interim measure in the process of our adhering to the Treaty on the Non Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
