Ratification of amendments to the Charter

Initially, the Charter could be accessed through the civil protection authorities of countries that were members of the Charter.

After this , whoever turns away will be of the evil doers .

Whoever therefore turns back after this , these it is that are the transgressors .

Now whoever turns away after this , are surely transgressors .

If any turn back after this , they are perverted transgressors .

The principles and purposes enshrined in the Charter reflect the true aspirations of humanity.

Let us remember that regional organizations and arrangements are part of the Charter.

The Assembly must uphold the rule of law and the purposes and principles of the Charter.

Mr. Shunmugasundaram (India) underscored the importance of Article 50 of the Charter, relating to assistance to third States affected by the application of sanctions under Chapter VII.
