| قل إني ن هيت أن أعبد الذين تدعون تعبدون من دون الله قل لا أتبع أهواءكم في عبادتها قد ضللت إذا إن اتبعتها وما أنا من المهتدين . | And say I will not follow your wishes . If I do , I shall be lost and not be one of those who follow the right path . |

Say I do not follow your low desires. for then indeed I should have gone astray and I should not be of those who go aright . |

If I do , I shall be lost and not be one of those who follow the right path . |
| قل أيها الرسول لهؤلاء المشركين إن الله عز وجل نهاني أن أعبد الأوثان التي تعبدونها من دونه ، وقل لهم لا أتبع أهواءكم قد ضللت عن الصراط المستقيم إن اتبعت أهواء كم ، وما أنا من المهتدين . | Say , I have been forbidden to worship those whom you worship other than Allah say , I do not follow your desires if it were , I would then go astray and not be on the right path . |
