22. UNICEF headquarters should expedite the reporting of remittances received on behalf of the Greeting Card and related Operations (GCO) to enable a factual recording to be made in the books of the GCO, New York and Geneva.

The depreciated value of the capital assets of the Greeting Card and related Operations is 1,377,821.

In UNICEF, this includes income other than the value of the voluntary contributions and the net income of the Greeting Card and related Operations.

The fundamentals of the business are strong and, with the help of the new global cards and gifts strategy, selected breakthrough strategies have been laid down to fully exploit the potential of UNICEF cards and gifts globally.

114.
