The Dutch FIU, known as the Unusual Transactions Reporting Centre (Meldpunt ongebruikelijke transacties, MOT), is an independent administrative body within the organisational structure of the Ministry of Justice.

In the Americas and Oceania, all States replying to the questionnaire for the third reporting period indicated that measures had been adopted in their financial systems with a view to enabling the reporting of suspicious and or unusual transactions.

These transactions are essentially non possessory security rights, and they are primarily used in States where the secured transactions law has not yet appropriately recognized non possessory security rights.
