Role of OHCHR.

At the same meeting, the High Commissioner made a statement.

His delegation reaffirmed its support for OHCHR and for the High Commissioner's Plan of Action, and welcomed the agreement made to double the OHCHR budget over the next five years.

The Commission requests the High Commissioner to submit to it at its sixty second session a detailed report containing an analysis by Office of the High Commissioner of the human rights situation in Colombia, in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Colombia and her Office on the operation of the permanent office in Bogotá.
