Executive branch The head of state in Albania is the President of the Republic.

Meetings were also held with representatives of the three branches of the State Executive, Legislative and Judicial.

Executive power is exercised solely by the President, who is head of state and head of government.

Executive authority is exercised by the President of the Republic, who is Head of State, Head of Government and Supreme Head of the Nicaraguan Army.

The president is the head of state, while executive power rests with the cabinet, headed by the prime minister.

The Nicaraguan State is composed of four authorities executive, legislative, judicial and electoral.

The State party recalls that the higher courts in Bangladesh are reported to display a significant degree of independence from the executive.

The fact that the Nicaraguan Institute for Women is part of the executive branch, together with its insufficient budget, limits its capacity to have an impact on the institutions and other Government authorities in order to reach a position where it could ensure the adoption of a gender equity approach within the Government.

Some advisers would continue to perform line functions to support critical State institutions, particularly in the justice sector where their Timorese counterparts are undergoing legal training.
