India is fully committed to promoting human rights education, and has taken several measures towards that end.

The Committee encourages the State party to expand and strengthen existing efforts regarding human rights education.

The peer education initiative is being replicated in railway zones across the subcontinent.

Such strategy was later on discussed with the cluster of agencies designated by the respective General Assembly Rresolution 58 , namely UNDP, UNEP and IFAD, as well as other relevant United Nations institutions and organiszations, including the World Bank, United Nations Volunteers (UNV), CBD, GEF, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), among others.

If this is in fact the case, it suggests a serious and widespread failing in judicial education.
