The program began in September 1994 after the suicide of 17 year old Mike Emme.

In 2003 2004, an estimated 66,901 children were enrolled in the program.

The Office also assists the Under Secretary General in his or her capacity as the programme manager of the Development Account.

Jordan keenly favoured the adoption of a resolution that would further strengthen the efforts of the Secretary General to proceed with the elaboration of the proposed agenda, and hoped that it would receive the support of Member States.

In 2002, it covered a fifth of the Mexican population, delivering payouts that added up to 20 of beneficiaries total expenditure.

If, on the other hand, the exclusion is consistent with the overarching purpose and scheme of the legislation, it is unlikely to be discriminatory.

That same year, China issued its National Climate Change Program , the first ever by a developing country.

Production and employment increased in the first years of the program, and there was no observable effect on imports and exports.

(b) Programme H.2 operates within the overall context of the cooperation agreement between UNOV, UNIDO and CTBTO.

In 1994, the Executive Board endorsed the recommendation of the Secretary General that the MCC consist of the Administrator of UNDP (Chair), the Under Secretary General for Administration and Management, and the Under Secretary General for Development Support and Management Services.

It was founded by Maurice Strong, its first director, as a result of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment in June 1972 and has its headquarters in the Gigiri neighborhood of Nairobi, Kenya.

Under item 5, the Board had before it proposals of the Director General on programme and budgets, 2006 2007 (IDB.30 6), a report on the implementation of Programme and Budget Committee conclusion 2005 3 submitted by the Chairperson of the Committee, Ms. S. Noriega Urizar (Guatemala) (IDB.30 24) and PBC conclusion 2005 3.

The objective of the Major Programme is to provide the framework for determining the guiding principles, policies, priorities and budgetary resources of the Organization, and to ensure close and well coordinated contacts and consultations with Governments.

5. Also requests the Secretary General to report to the General Assembly at its sixty third session on the establishment and implementation of the programme

On 10 and 11 May, the Committee considered the proposals by the Director General for the programme and budgets 2006 2007 (PBC.21 6).

The Secretary General's report, requested by the Council in resolution 1590 (2005), will be an important element in taking forward this vital agenda.

(i) The appropriations for the Regular Programme of Technical Cooperation (RPTC) are administered in accordance with the financial regulations of UNIDO, and in accordance with the General Conference decision mentioned in paragraph (o) above

With support from UNDP technical advisers, the Ministry of Justice and the Attorney General have made significant progress in the implementation of the Government's public administrative reform programme.

The programme is guided by the Administrative and Budgetary (Fifth) Committee of the General Assembly and the Committee for Programme and Coordination.

Subsequently, upon recommendation of the Committee and the Board, the General Conference requested the Director General to incorporate fully in the annual reports the programme performance report for the relevant period (GC.4 Res.2).

6. The Secretary General is requested to report to the General Assembly at its sixtieth session on the implementation of this Global Agenda and Programme of Action.

The program has practically been forgotten, and will expire next year unless it is renewed.

Despite this, the program sold only about 12,500 laptops and generated a mere 2.5 million a 93 percent decline from the year before.

The programme includes general education, teacher education and technical vocational education and training for Palestine refugee children and youth, in accordance with their needs, identity and cultural heritage.

25.1 The overall purpose of the programme is to enhance effectiveness in the implementation of all programmes through continually improved internal control mechanisms within the Organization.
