Mandated reviews are in depth reviews of fourth national communications, annual technical reviews of national greenhouse gas inventories, evaluation of reports demonstrating progress achieved in meeting commitments under the Kyoto Protocol, and reviews of the reports to facilitate the calculation of the assigned amount and to demonstrate capacity to account for a Party's emissions and assigned amount.

Reporting and publication The expert review team shall, under its collective responsibility, produce the following review reports for each Party included in Annex I

This review should take place in conjunction with the annual review in accordance with the relevant procedures in paragraphs 115 to 117 below.

In that regard, the Chairman is invited to report thereon to the next Annual Ministerial Meeting.

At the 12th meeting, on 30 June, the President of the Council opened discussion on the ministerial review of progress in the implementation of the 2003 ministerial declaration of the Council.

Annual technical review of national greenhouse gas inventories (all Annex I Parties)

Taking note of the ministerial communiqué adopted at the Fifth Annual Ministerial Meeting of Landlocked Developing Countries, held on 27 September 2004 at United Nations Headquarters,A C.2 59 2.

In my capacity as Chairman of the Group of Landlocked Developing Countries, I have the honour to transmit herewith the ministerial communiqué adopted at the Sixth Annual Ministerial Meeting of Landlocked Developing Countries, held at United Nations Headquarters on 19 September 2005 (see annex).

Requests the Executive Director to report on the utilization of these funds in the context of the UNFPA annual financial review.

The Consultative Process has contributed positively, inter alia, and by facilitating the annual review of the Secretary General's report on oceans and the law of the sea.

Patricia Lewis considered the annual review undertaken by the Space Security Index' as an important element of international work on the issue.

In that regard, request the submission of a further comprehensive progress report of the programme to the next Annual Ministerial Meeting for consideration and any appropriate action.

Took note of the report of the Administrator on the annual review of the financial situation, 2004 (DP 2005 33 and DP 2005 33 Add.1)

The annual review, including adjustment procedures as part of the review of the annual or base year inventory, shall be concluded within one year of the due date for submission of the information to be reported under Article 7, paragraph 1.

In accordance with Economic and Social Council resolution 2008 (LX), the Committee will have before it the annual overview report of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) for 2004.

They stated that, in general, the Consultative Process had achieved its goals and facilitated the annual review by the General Assembly of developments in ocean affairs and the law of the sea.

It concludes with a set of recommendations (see chap. III), based on the annual review undertaken by the UNIFEM Consultative Committee, on how the effectiveness of UNIFEM can be further strengthened.

The Group of 77 and China would also support the recommendation for the agenda item Training and research to be examined every two years by the General Assembly, instead of the current practice of annual reviews.

However, the reporting format (e.g., global appeal, annual report) was not consistent with the format of the matrix, and outputs and key indicators included in the matrix were not mentioned in the reports issued by the Section and the Department.

In its resolution 59 275, the General Assembly endorsed the conclusions and recommendations of the Committee on the work of its forty fourth session regarding the annual overview report of CEB for 2003 (E 2004 67).

Following completion of the trial period set up in that decision, annual reviews of the individual inventory of each Annex I Party became mandatory in 2003.

4. Requests the Commission for Social Development to continue to review annually the preparations for the tenth anniversary of the International Year of the Family as part of its agenda and of its multi year programme of work until 2004

The process of establishing a culture of evaluation has significantly increased survey activities, which have more than doubled with the introduction of the annual programme impact review (see figure 1).

The Organization also participated in the planning of the 56th Annual DPI NGO Conference and attended all the annual DPI NGO Conferences during the review period.

20. Expresses its concern about the insufficiency of resources in the trust fund established for the participation of the least developed countries in the annual review of the implementation of the Programme of Action by the Economic and Social Council

In line with the Security Council's annual review of the implementation of its resolution 1325 (2000) on women, peace and security and to further promote gender mainstreaming in the security sector, the Institute has undertaken a number of activities.

The in country review shall provide a detailed examination of supplementary information incorporated in the annual inventory, in accordance with paragraphs 23 and 25 of the annex to decision  CMP.1 (Article 7) compiled by the secretariat and reviewed in paragraph 124 above for all years since the initial review.
