Current statistics on the state of the world's fisheries and various reports setting out the threats to oceans resources and biodiversity are well known.

For starters, they will need benchmarks of current conditions and projected costs, and then detailed statistics on the adoption of the measures, their impact and costs, and what happens over time.

The Statistics Division has also established a technical subgroup on human functioning and disability to review and update current census recommendations on disability with regard to concepts, definitions and classifications.
