Further contributions would be made when the proposed amendments to the 1988 Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation and the 1988 Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Fixed Platforms and the Continental Shelf were adopted and entered into force.

These illicit activities are not intended, but they increase the income of peasants, transporters, builders, and businessmen.
