There is no impact of the assets freeze in Liberia. No action has been taken by the National Transitional Government of Liberia in the past six months. In 2004, when the Government tried to freeze the investment of Benoni Urey and Emanuel Shaw in a prominent GSM cellular mobile company, it did so without taking the appropriate legal course of action or passing proper legislation. As a result, the two went to the Supreme Court, which issued a stay order immediately. The case is still pending.
