So all the neighborhood kids would keep referring to me as a boy. I countered them by pointing out my painted nails how could I be a boy if I was wearing nail polish?!

From an early age I learned to invest myself emotionally in what unfolded before me on screen.

I'm gonna take a shave, haircut, manicure, the whole works.

But I was trained to detest technology in schools and to consider it imperialist.

People sort of think I went away between Titanic and Avatar and was buffing my nails someplace, sitting at the beach.
