Horse mackerel is used by the industrial fishery as feed for animals that are exported abroad as meat.

Such action must not only aim to protect shark populations directly it must also address major threats to sharks, such as illegal trade, bycatch, and overfishing.

And because I love sharks I'm somewhat obsessed with sharks I wanted to do another, more celebratory, story about sharks, as a way of talking about the need for shark conservation.
