MEG I contribute most of my time to GV. Before GV I switched careers from telecommunications, as I majored in Biomedical Engineering, to social media.

When Ali Shafiya of the video blog Alive in Baghdad died, even A list bloggers like Robert Scoble wrote posts to express their condolences and many people, from all over the world, contributed to help his family with the funeral.

The decision to blog came after I was convinced that by blogging and creating a buzz on the web, I can contribute to raising awareness in my country and help in unmasking the military regime ruling Mauritania since 1978.

The solution could be in managing time better such as in switching off the television between 5pm and 8pm, or drawing up a schedule for joint family activities, or for me to actually take part in doing housework, even just carrying out chores that I can do easily .. or anything else.. but I would say no to a housemaid (at least under the current circumstances).

I worked before with the Institute for War and Peace Reporting and Index on Censorship. I do not have a personal blog but I have recently launched the Arab Region in Media Monitoring Blog. The blog is a project for the Young Leaders Visitors Program, which I recently took part in.
