My studies per se are not quite influential in my blogging I don't blog about Technology much, but the cultural experience of living in Japan, learning the language, and studying in that (very) foreign language has affected what I blog about, and how I blog.

What has it got to do with blogging? Well, it depends.

I might say that I have this insane need to write about everything I know and see, and therefore I write stories, and that s why I blog.

I believe that when I feel like blogging, I will however when I don't, I'll just post pictures or videos that describe my current state of mind on Tumblr et al.

I blog from home now, on a laptop with a DSL connection, in one of the oldest fully functioning medieval cities in the world.

I started blogging when I went to Syria to study because I'd been following many Syrian bloggers even before I left, which inspired me to blog, and because I wanted an easy way to communicate with my family, friends, and acquaintances back home.

The invitations to write for other sites have also varied, but I should focus on a few for now, as I only write part time.

I was an introverted child, to the point of communicating with colored crayons and apologizing to objects when I bumped into them, so my mother thought it might do me good to write down my day to day experiences and emotions.

In the same time GV began to mention blog posts I wrote, as I was active then in covering court sessions where policemen were tried for human rights violations, blogging under the nickname IRC President.
