DISKETTE AND THROUGH MICROCOMPUTER For some years now, the collection of statistics from countries on magnetic tape has been carried out by various international organizations.

Several countries are providing both trade data and industrial statistics information (commodity production and general industrial statistics) on diskette to the Statistical Division (UNSTAT 12).

The Statistical Division is planning to participate in the joint work with IEA OECD ECE on the development of an energy statistics questionnaire on diskette.

Delegations are requested to follow the procedures and to submit both the hardcopy of the final text and a diskette to the secretariat for processing the document.

This information, disseminated on diskette and made available on INTERNET by UNDP, is a snapshot of general information about each of the United Nations organizations and agencies.
