Progress has been made towards establishing a functioning immovable property rights register and cadastre.

The contribution rate is based on net salaries (on the employed, 15 per cent, on pensions 3.75 per cent and on cadastre revenues of farmers, 15 per cent).

Appeals procedures are functioning well over 90 per cent of appeals (74 of 81) against decisions related to the register and cadastre were resolved within obligatory time frames.

Article 9 of the Law on the Fight Against Legalizing the Illegal Income and Financing of Terrorism and sub paragraph (d) of Article 3, which defines the list of competent bodies (including the state cadastre and state notary offices), impose an obligation to identify parties of transactions.
