The airport reopened to both scheduled and charter flights, while hotel redevelopment got under way.

While some of Istanbul's history is UNESCO protected, much of it is vulnerable to redevelopment drives.

Stimulated by the economic growth in the 1970s and 1980s, active redevelopment saw new horizons in architectural design.

The construction work of the current building began on March 15, 2005, and the building was one of the commercial complex buildings in Marunouchi Manhattan Plan, a redevelopment project in the Marunouchi area, following to the Marunouchi OAZO and the Tokyo Building TOKIA.

According to the administering Power, in addition to the construction of a luxury hotel and villa, as well as a golf course, a multimillion dollar project was signed in 2004 for a major redevelopment of the Cocoloba resort complex (see also sect. III, para. 16, and sect. IV, para. 21, above).

Now, lest you think that this is only for the light at heart, or just temporary installations, this is the same firm working at the World Trade Center, replacing the bridge that used to go across West Street, that very important pedestrian connection between the city of New York and the redevelopment of the West Side.
