Unfortunately I haven't read anything for Saramago, and I always see his novel Blindness on my bookshelf and wish to have the chance to read it soon.

But what makes The Great Illusion the saddest book on my office bookshelf is that we have found other reasons to fight wars, and the years since Angell wrote his book have seen the most terrible and bloody wars ever.

In an L shape bunk the bottom bed is oriented at a right angle to the top bed such that when viewed from above the beds form an L. This also creates a small alcove where a desk or bookshelf can be placed.
