During the period under review, there was a significant increase in the workload of the Appeals Chamber, with appeals of judgement in 10 cases, as well as 28 interlocutory appeals and 1 motion for review under consideration.

During the reporting period she sent urgent appeals to Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Somalia, all relating to persons sentenced to death for religious offences or offences against morals.
