And turn not your face away from men with pride , nor walk in insolence through the earth . Verily , Allah likes not each arrogant boaster .

And do not walk proudly on earth . You can neither pierce the earth , nor can you match the mountains in height .

And do not treat people with arrogance , nor walk proudly on earth . God does not love the arrogant showoffs .

( xiv ) Do not strut about in the land arrogantly . Surely you cannot cleave the earth , nor reach the heights of the mountains in stature .

Do not ( contemptuously ) turn your face away from people , nor tread haughtily upon earth . Allah does not love the arrogant and the vainglorious .

And walk not in the earth exultant . Lo ! thou canst not rend the earth , nor canst thou stretch to the height of the hills .

Turn not thy cheek in scorn toward folk , nor walk with pertness in the land . Lo !

Do not walk exultantly on the earth . Indeed , you will neither pierce the earth , nor reach the mountains in height .

Do not turn your cheek away disdainfully from the people , and do not walk exultantly on the earth . Indeed Allah does not like any swaggering braggart .

Do not walk proudly in the earth . Indeed , you will never tear open the earth , nor attain the height of mountains .

And do not walk upon the earth exultantly . Indeed , you will never tear the earth apart , and you will never reach the mountains in height .

And do not turn your cheek in contempt toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly . Indeed , Allah does not like everyone self deluded and boastful .

Do not walk proudly on the earth your feet cannot tear apart the earth nor are you as tall as the mountains .

Do not scornfully turn your face away from people . Do not walk around puffed up with pride God does not love arrogant and boastful people .

And do not go about in the land exultingly , for you cannot cut through the earth nor reach the mountains in height .

And do not turn your face away from people in contempt , nor go about in the land exulting overmuch surely Allah does not love any self conceited boaster

Do not walk proudly on the earth . You cannot cleave the earth , nor can you rival the mountains in height .

Do not avert your face from people out of haughtiness and do not walk with pride on the earth for , behold , God does not love arrogant and boastful people .

Nor walk on the earth with insolence for thou canst not rend the earth asunder , nor reach the mountains in height .

And swell not thy cheek ( for pride ) at men , nor walk in insolence through the earth for Allah loveth not any arrogant boaster .

And those who didn't die lived often very tethered to the ground, could not experience pleasure, could not trust, because when you're vigilant, worried, anxious, and insecure, you can't lift your head to go and take off in space and be playful and safe and imaginative.
