The Information Systems Section is responsible for the development, administration and maintenance of the information systems infrastructure.

In 2012, Uladzimir began his doctoral studies in the Department of Information Systems at the Poznań University of Economics.

Under Roy Stryker, the Information Division of the FSA adopted a goal of introducing America to Americans.

Within the Library, a new section, Knowledge Sharing Services, has been created. This section will provide internal information management consulting services to Secretariat offices and permanent missions to help their staff make better use of information management tools and methods.

At the University of California, Irvine Department of Informatics, informatics is defined as the interdisciplinary study of the design, application, use and impact of information technology.

In collaboration with the civilian police component, the Public Information and Outreach Section has also established a system of information gathering from the field in Korhogo, Bondoukou, San Pédro, Yamoussoukro and Abengourou.

Similarly, centrally controlled expenditures are now requested under Executive Office rather than Office of the Chief Executive Officer or Information Management Systems Service.

In co operation with UNHCR's Division of Information Systems and Telecommunications (DIST), the Protection Information Section has been working on making several needed changes to the Refworld customer database.

In order to cope with the proposed reorganization of the Service, the Information Systems Section must adapt to new requirements by increasing the number of its technical staff accordingly.

In July and August 2004, meetings were held between the Claims Payment Section and the Information Systems Section to discuss the ways of reducing the risks involved.
