Mark Zuckerberg stole my idea!

Anyone support my idea?

The last person I told my idea to thought I was nuts.

And that was my thinking of how would you do that.

But my idea today is not to debate whether there's such a thing as good TV or bad TV my idea today is to tell you that I believe television has a conscience.

My point now, though, is that there is a lot that we could do for you who are in here, if you've survived the initial blast.

My idea and literally, I woke up in the middle of the night, and we've all have those moments. You know, you go to sleep I was excited, with this phone call.

Never mention winning. My idea is that you can lose when you outscore somebody in a game.

I'm showing it because they're not a sponsor, are they? because, in its own way, this is a crass version of our founding story.

So to you all, the women of TEDWomen, the men of TEDWomen, the global audiences of TEDWomen, thank you for letting me present my idea about the conscience of television.

My big idea is a very, very small idea that can unlock billions of big ideas that are at the moment dormant inside us.

We drove to the Goodwill and we threw the sweater away somewhat ceremoniously, my idea being that I would never have to think about the sweater nor see it ever again.

So my idea was that, instead of sitting down and reaching for a lot of controls, that you would sit on the chair, and it would automatically balance your weight against the force required to recline.

And I want to be clear about what I'm saying, because I deeply believe our offices should be encouraging casual, chatty cafe style types of interactions you know, the kind where people come together and serendipitously have an exchange of ideas.

So, that's my first idea. And we all know about the Mozart effect the idea that's been around for the last five to 10 years that just by listening to music or by playing music to your baby in utero , that it'll raise our IQ points 10, 20, 30 percent.

But I want to go back now and revisit these steps, and talk about it from the standpoint of transformation, because I really believe that all things can be understood and this is not my own idea. This goes back to the Scholastics and to the Ancients that all things can be understood on four levels the literal, the metaphoric or poetic level, the political or ethical level.
