The Greek branch of the European women's network had also set up a free hotline covering the whole country.

The Government had set up a special office to address discrimination, including on grounds of sexual orientation or ethnic origin, and had also established a toll free hotline for foreigners who felt that they were being discriminated against.

To encourage more Arab women to report incidents of domestic violence and sexual abuse, a national hotline for battered women and children, offering services in Hebrew, Arabic, English, Russian and Amharic, had been established by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
