Reports of committees, panels and working groups to the Executive Board shall be made publicly available, subject to confidentiality provisions.

The late availability to the Economic and Social Council of the reports of the sessions of the functional commissions was a problem that needed to be addressed.

The office is also responsible for the issuance of all reports of the Investment Management Service to the governing United Nations committees and the Investments Committee.

The Committees receive the social services reports as to the status of the family (e.g. the victims) and the prisoner treatment in prison.

Key indicators by revenue stream have been agreed upon with the national committees and have been included in revenue and expenditure reporting.

Committee reports are usually deadly dull, and UN committee reports are among the dullest.

Before we begin to take action on the recommendations contained in the reports of the First, Second, Third and Fifth Committees, I should like to advise representatives that we are going to proceed to take decisions in the same manner as was done in the Committees, unless notified otherwise in advance.

The chairpersons called upon the human rights treaty bodies to follow up on those recommendations and to report on their implementation at the fifth inter committee meeting in 2006.

If there is no proposal under rule 66 of the rules of procedure, I shall take it that the General Assembly decides not to discuss the reports of the four Committees before the Assembly today.

The secretariat will report on its implementation of recommendations addressed to it, and member States will be invited to report on their own implementation in statements to the Commission. In this context, the UNCTAD secretariat has prepared a progress report on the implementation of agreed recommendations adopted at the eighth session of the Commission.

The Committee is working with the Counter Terrorism Committee and the Committee established pursuant to resolution 1540 (2004) to address States that have problems submitting timely reports to all three Committees.

The underlying reason is that subregional offices neither control nor know how the delegates to intergovernmental committees of experts dispose of the reports of such committees.

He would like to know the composition of the people's committees, whether they included women, and whether the people's committees were familiar with the Convention.

In analysing efforts of Member States to implement resolution 1373 (2001), the Executive Directorate will provide their reports to the other Committees for consultation and will exchange views with the experts of the Monitoring Team and the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1540 (2004).

The Chairmen of the three committees have held informal meetings in order to find new areas of cooperation and coordination among the Committees.
